About Christy Morgan
Christy Morgan is an American health food chef, cooking instructor, yoga teacher and cookbook author. She became obsessed with fitness post-30 and has dedicated herself to ageing gracefully using what she calls the trifecta of health – mind/body connection, fitness and healthy eating. Christy is a NASM-certified personal trainer since 2013. She has been practising yoga for over 25 years and teaching many styles since 2015. Christy specializes in fitness for all levels and ages, giving modifications so everyone can be included. She believes it’s never too late to improve your health and wellbeing. No matter what your fitness level, you will love her group classes, and she is also available for private and small group personal training sessions.

Functional Body in Balance: A Holistic Workshop for Wellness
Join us for a transformative journey towards holistic wellness in our four-class workshop series designed to enhance body awareness, mobility and overall functional fitness with touches of yoga. Whether you’re just beginning your wellness journey, recovery from injury or need to improve your overall health these classes are tailored to accommodate all levels and abilities. Unlike any course you’ve ever taken! Sessions are 2 hours. The cost is 80€ (includes IVA), paid in advance.
Whether your goal is to improve flexibility, strengthen your core or simply enhance your overall wellbeing, our workshop series offers something for everyone. Join us on this journey towards holistic body wellness and discover the transformative power of mindful movement and self-care.
Class 1: Body Awareness and Breath
In this introductory session, we delve into the fundamentals of body awareness. Through mindful movement and gentle exercises, participants will learn to connect with their bodies on a deeper level, improving their range of motion and unlocking increased mobility while learning how to breathe fully.
Class 2: Alignment, Stability and Balance
A strong core and flexible spine are the foundation of a healthy body. In this session, we target the core through a series of dynamic exercises designed to build strength, stability and balance. Additionally, participants will explore techniques to enhance flexibility, promoting better posture and alignment.
Class 3: Functional Training and Strength
Functional training is key to enhancing everyday movements and preventing injury. In this session, we focus on functional exercises that mimic real-life activities, promoting balance, stability and strength. Participants will learn techniques to improve balance, coordination and proprioception for better overall fitness and health.
Class 4: Yoga Postures & Modifications
In our final class, we incorporate elements of yoga to cultivate balance and harmony within the body and mind. You’ll learn a variety of yoga poses and how you can modify them for your needs. Participants will experience a sense of inner peace while improving overall physical and mental wellbeing. This class will leave you feeling refreshed, rejuvenated and in tune with your body.
