Raw Vegan Portabella Sandwich with Rawsheed
You’re gonna love this!
Wow!! I’m in love with Portland’s vegan food choices. I’m in love with the nice people, the free parking, cheap fuel prices, cheap yoga, inexpensive organic food options, making new friends and meeting my fellow tweeters. I’m not in love with the craptastic weather though! It was raining and freezing cold the whole time…
Hi blissful beings! As you can see I haven't written much on the blog this week. I do apologize but I was living it up in Austin. I taught two classes at the Whole Foods flagship store in their Culinary Center as well as demoed at the Austin Farmer's Market. It was a blast and…
I’m crazy for kale. I could eat it every freakin’ day! It wasn’t until I went to culinary school that my love affair with kale began. The only time I had seen it before was garnished around the salad bar at restaurants. How crazy that they didn’t chopped it up and throw into the salad…
This was my first ever BlogHer conference to attend. It seemed appropriate for me to attend their Food conference and since it landed in Austin this year I was happy to be asked to speak. I gave a class on video equipment with my partner in crime Heather from Healthy Eating Starts Here. You can…
August Cooking Tool of the Month – Dehydrator This month we feature the dehydrator. What better tool to feature in the dead of summer? I was hoping by now that I would have purchased an Excalibur and would have delicious recipes to share with you. But alas it isn’t in the budget for a new…
After a long day of trudging through The Natural Products Expo all I could think about was some warming soup and curling up with a movie. Though I was completely beat when I arrived home, after walking around for 4 hours at the Expo, I muscled up enough energy to make this video. This is…

I’ve taken vegan classes with Christy. The raw portabella sandwich looks delicious. I wish you could show how to make the nutbased sauce or tell what it is made of. Also, it cut off about how to make raw mayo. By the way, I loved the song you sang. Wish I could hear it everytime I ate.
Thanks,
Alanna
